Our client based in Reading is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid counterbalance forklift licence to join their busy and growing team.
Role Overview:
This position involves both general warehouse duties and operating a counterbalance forklift. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and in line with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)Previous warehouse experience desirableGood level of physical fitness - manual handling requiredStrong work ethic, reliability, and a team-focused attitudeGood attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
