My client based in Berkshire are looking for a Digital Scrum Master on an initial 3 month contract inside of IR35This will be working on a hybrid basis of which you will be required on client site once a week.You will be working in a busy team of which you will be involved in the delivery of the organisations Agile project capability in both its digital and ICT service. You will have lots of interactions with both internal and external project managers and will co-ordinate the effective delivery of projects using Agile methodologies. Core to the role is the ability to take the initiative and ensure the smart delivery of the backlog keeping velocity at optimal levels. You will have the ability to report backlog performance at various level of the organisation. Projects will include software as well as hardware projects. Experience of working with business analysts and service designers is important.You will

  • The scrum master will ensure that the backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos and retrospective meetings are executed accordingly and optimizing the team performance.
  • Ensure that milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout all projects lifecycle.
  • Remove project obstacles, develop solutions with the team members and stakeholders involved.
  • Develop key relationships with Product owners, providing vital status updates and supporting business communication.
  • Document and communicate progress and external blockers to upper management and multiple stakeholders.
  • Input into planning and estimation in agile framework to fulfil the requirements backlog
  • Act as a Scrum Master for 1-2 Scrum teams, working on multiple concurrent projects

You must have

  1. Recognised Agile certification
  2. Expertise in a variety of Agile principles and frameworks
  3. Scrum Master Certification
  4. 2 - 3 years of experience of running multiple scrum teams
  5. Ability to run DevOps- preferably using Azure DevOps.
  6. An instinctive understanding of group dynamics
  7. A broad toolkit of facilitation, training and coaching techniques, with an ability to coach on a one to one or team level
  8. Demonstrable business acumen and knowledge of business functions and processes at an enterprise level.
  9. Good communication (both verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills
