Key Responsibilities:
- Handle initial enquiries from new clients with professionalism and empathy
- Support senior fee earners with complex PI and asbestos/mesothelioma claims
- Draft legal correspondence and documents, including court forms and care statements
- Prepare court bundles for hearings and trials
- Conduct in-depth legal and company research (eg on historical defendants)
- Assist with drafting Part 8 proceedings and applications to restore companies to the register
- Manage digital files and correspondence using iManage, Elite, MatterSphere, PDF Docs, Microsoft Teams and Outlook 365
- Contribute to team marketing efforts, including managing social media, writing legal articles and attending charity/industry events
- Perform general administrative support across ongoing case files
- Maintain up-to-date case and file management records
? Your Profile:
- Previous Claimant-side Personal Injury experience (essential)
- Familiarity with industrial disease litigation (desirable)
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Organised, with strong attention to detail and file management discipline
- Confident in speaking with clients and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of legal software systems and Microsoft Office
- Motivated to learn and progress in a niche, rewarding legal field
