Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a primary school in Reading, who are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. As part of the White Horse Federation, this school wants to give their students the best chance of success and inspire every child to flourish through a continuous and inclusive learning pathway that empowers pupils from early years onward. This role calls for someone who can uplift and encourage students, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
This role will include work on a 1:1 basis as well as support across the classroom. As part of this position, the individual will be required to work with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) students, therefore having previous relevant experience is desired - but not essential. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you! Whether you're seeking flexible part-time work or a full-time placement, successful candidates may be offered long-term or permanent roles based on performance and school needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Empowering pupils through engaging learning activities
- Assisting teachers in delivering impactful lessons
- Supporting individual needs to boost confidence and progress
- Maintaining a positive, well-organised classroom space
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with children (formal or informal)
- Enhanced DBS (we can help with this)
- UK Right to Work
- Enthusiastic, adaptable mindset and a love for education
