My Client

Is a very successful manufacturer and a market leader in its sector and product type. The business is transforming to become leaner and more world class and requires a first class Production Manager to lead this change.

The Role

The process of manufacture is heavy, large and expansive while the headcount is reasonably modest at 4 Shift Managers and 36 Shift Based Supervisors and Operators. Therefore the challenges are very much in driving operational improvement (SQCDP)while developing your direct reports.

The Person

You will bea Production Manager in an operation which could be considered a "process industry" and your experience will be such that you will be adept at managing KPI's and effecting positive changes when these are below acceptable limits through a tenacious attitude and good problem solving skills. From a personnel perspective you must be able to demonstrate good development skills through mentoring and challenging your team.
