Solution Architect - ServiceNow - 8 Months Contract - Inside IR35
My large UK based client is looking for a Solution Architect - ServiceNow to join them on a contract basis and lead the design and development of solution architectures for value streams and products, focusing on creating high-level solution models and architectures to guide enterprise decisions.
This position is integral to an ongoing Service Transformation programme, which includes building a new Service Now platform and delivering new Service Management processes aligned with ITIL and SIAM.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Develop and maintain high-level solution models and architectures in line with business requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance of solution architectures with the Target Architecture, roadmaps, guardrails, IT principles, and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide the best-fit solution options.
- Act as the technical design authority throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the solution architecture.
Technical skills required to be successful in this role:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and supporting governance, process, and culture.
- Knowledge in the following technical disciplines:o Cloud Services (Infrastructure, Platform, Software as a Service)o Application development, DevOps, CI/CDo Network designo Middlewareo Servers and storageo Database managemento Operations
- Understanding of APIs, Web services, Microservices, Serverless compute, and other modern cloud-native application architectures.
- High-level knowledge of development processes, including DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, and lean development.
