We are currently seeking a Workshop Operative for our client based in Reading. This is a Temporary Ongoing position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic chance to develop your skills and grow within the company.

Details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 am - 16:00 pm
  • Pay Rate: £12.21ph + holiday allowance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, prepare, and build wooden products to the highest standards.
  • Operate various machines and tools to cut, prepare, and assemble components.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning work areas, machines, and equipment.
  • Report equipment or facility issues promptly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic DIY skills.
  • Experience with woodwork is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
