A respected and well-established architectural firm based in Reading is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role within a collaborative studio, contributing to a wide variety of projects across the retail, commercial and residential sectors.

The successful Architectural Technologist will bring significant post-qualification experience, excellent technical proficiency, and a confident approach to projects. You will work closely with architects and consultants and will contribute to the smooth delivery of schemes from early design through to construction.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
  • Strong post-qualification experience within architectural practice
  • Expert knowledge of current UK building regulations and construction standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsibility for managing the technical delivery of projects from early stages through to completion
  • Producing detailed technical information and drawing packages using Revit
  • Coordinating with architects, consultants, and clients to meet programme and budget targets
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards throughout all phases
  • Attending site visits and working with contractors to resolve on-site technical queries
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
