This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, commercially minded individual to take on high-quality work, support partners on transactional matters, and manage a caseload with autonomy.The RoleThe successful candidate will join a well-structured and collaborative Commercial Property team, working on a broad range of matters, including:
- Handling commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Drafting and advising on commercial leases, renewals, and ancillary documents such as licences to assign, underlet or alter
- Managing property portfolios for occupiers and landlords
- Providing property support on corporate transactions
- Advising on secured lending matters
- Identifying risks and offering pragmatic, commercial advice
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Engaging in business development and contributing to the firm's commercial profile
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in commercial property.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently, with partner oversight where necessary
- Strong technical drafting and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-focused and commercially aware
- Comfortable engaging in client development and networking activities
