A leading Legal 500 firm in the Thames Valley is seeking an experienced and team-focused Senior Associate Solicitor to join its highly regarded Residential Property team based in Reading.

Due to continued growth, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Property Lawyer (5+ years PQE) who enjoys collaborative working, mentoring junior team members and being part of a firm with a strong presence across Berkshire and the Thames Valley.

The Role:

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Manage a broad and high-quality caseload including complex sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold matters, new builds, first registrations and shared ownership transactions
  • Play an active role in the supervision and development of junior colleagues, providing mentoring and guidance
  • Work closely with the Reading-based partners and contribute to the growth and development of the team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on excellent client service
  • Assist with business development activities, local networking and maintaining the firm’s reputation across the Thames Valley

? Requirements:

  • 5+ years PQE as a Residential Property Solicitor
  • Experience handling complex and high-value property matters
  • Team-oriented, with a proven track record of mentoring or supervising junior staff
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, partner-led environment
  • Local knowledge of the Reading/Thames Valley property market is advantageous
  • Must live within commutable distance of Reading (or be genuinely willing to relocate)
