Are you looking for an exciting and varied role that involves coordinating consultancy and training projects for our global clients? You will be in contact with our internationally based consultants and clients to ensure the work goes ahead according to schedule and on budget. We have clients based all over the world, including UK, Europe, N. & S. America, Africa and Asia Pacific and all projects are coordinated from our Reading, UK office.
What could a day look like?
You could be emailing or calling clients in the morning to arrange project meetings or training courses on dates that fit with our consultants' calendars - you will have already been in touch with our consultants to check their availability and you will get to know the consultants well. In the afternoon, you could be ensuring reports are quality checked by our Quality team and preparing the details for project invoices for our accounts team. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and within your role, you will have full support from the Operations Manager as well as the wider RQA team. Training will be given as required.
Our clients include some of the world’s best known consumer product brands and global insurance companies. Our projects involve consultancy and training on product recall and crisis management. You don't need to know about crisis management (our consultants do that), but you will ensure that the work proceeds smoothly and any questions are promptly answered.
Key tasks:
- To coordinate all stages of consultancy and training activities from assigning consultants and completion of booking forms to collating project finances in readiness for invoicing and project close
- To liaise with clients and consultants as part of the project coordination process
- Maintain client and project information on the company database system
- To liaise with RQA personnel worldwide as it pertains to projects
- To work closely with other members of the RQA team
- Participate in the RQA incident support process
- Assist the Project Team as required
Key skills / experience:
- Experience with project coordinating / scheduling / customer service / events organisation or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organised and ability to coordinate multiple activities at the same time
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Fluent English
- Familiar with issues related to the food / consumer products industry
The role is based in the RQA Reading office in Swallowfield. We currently operate 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days work from home (Monday and Friday).

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
