Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off, Days/Nights)

Reading, commutable from Slough, Basingstoke, Thatcham, High Wycombe, Didcot and surrounding areas

45,000 - 50,000 (To increase to 55,000 within 6 months)

Rest of Package: Specialist Training (including external qualifications) + Progression Available + Holiday + No Call Outs + Healthcare Assist Schemes

The company is renowned within the Industrial Services industry. Due to continued success and investment, they are looking to expand and strengthen the Engineering department. This client has heavily invested in the latest technology and latest machinery whilst having a clean work environment.

Within this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance and some reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will be provided initial and ongoing support to become an expert in their field and the company encourage either Mechanical Bias or Electrically bias Engineers to apply.

The ideal candidate is a Maintenance Engineer, with a background working in FMCG/ Manufacturing/ Plant Engineering/ Production and are either mechanically bias or electrically bias.

Ex Forces (RAF, REME, Royal Navy, RAF etc) candidates are encouraged to apply and will be offered plenty of training, support and upskilling.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join a nationwide market leader, receive specialist training to increase skills, and be offered the potential to progress into more senior positions and work on brand-new cutting-edge machinery.

The Role:

*Preventive and reactive maintenance of the Production site

*Electrical and Mechanical fault finding, servicing, and installation.

*Shift based: 4 on 4 off - DAYS/NIGHTS - 7 am-pm/7 pm-am

The Person:

*Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Engineer or Cross Skilled Engineer or Maintenance Technician or similar backgrounds all considered

*Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills

*Experience in FMCG, Food, Industrial, Production, or manufacturing background.

*Live commutable to Reading

*Ex Forces candidates encouraged to apply and will be offered training
