Laboratory Support Technician

Reading, Berkshire

Temporary position – immediate start (w/c 26th May) and until 30th September 2025

Full time working hours (8am – 4pm, Mon – Fri)

Duties of the role:

  • Support with the processing and manufacturing of plasma samples
  • Register, store and test plasma samples as per SOPS
  • Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment
  • Discard and manage waste processes when required
  • You will be required to work from time to time in cold storage environments and be on your feet for long periods of time

Requirements:

  • Previous laboratory experience would be highly desirable
  • Science related degree is desirable, but minimum of scientific A Levels are required
  • Driving licence as location is difficulty to access by public transport
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as part of team and individually when required
