Responsive Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established estate agency in Reading, currently seeking a proactive and professional Property Manager to join their busy and friendly team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in property management or lettings who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering top-tier service to landlords and tenants.

Role Overview:

As a Property Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring tenancies run smoothly and all compliance, maintenance and tenant issues are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day issues across a portfolio of rental properties

  • Coordinating maintenance works and liaising with contractors

  • Conducting property inspections, check-ins and check-outs

  • Managing tenancy renewals and deposit returns

  • Ensuring all properties meet legal and safety standards

  • Acting as a key point of contact for both landlords and tenants

  • Working occasional Saturdays on a rota (with time off in lieu where applicable)

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience in property management or residential lettings

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively

  • Knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance (ARLA qualification desirable)

  • A full UK driving licence (preferred)
