This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Business Studies teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career or an existing Head of Department looking for a new challenge in a supportive and high-achieving school.



Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5

  • Previous leadership or management experience (preferred)

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management

  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to obtain one)



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Business Studies department

  • Develop and deliver an engaging, ambitious curriculum

  • Support and mentor staff within the department

  • Track and analyse student progress and implement effective interventions

  • Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
