Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Berkshire that is urgently seeking to appoint a Head of Business to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Business Studies teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career or an existing Head of Department looking for a new challenge in a supportive and high-achieving school.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
Previous leadership or management experience (preferred)
Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management
Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Business Studies department
Develop and deliver an engaging, ambitious curriculum
Support and mentor staff within the department
Track and analyse student progress and implement effective interventions
Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
