Join a very successful and progressing company based in RG2 as a Warehouse Operative. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, loyal, and looking for an opportunity to progress within a dynamic environment. Experience as a Forklift Driver is beneficial but not essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handling goods in and out, ensuring efficient stock management and storage.
- Picking and packing orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch.
- Loading goods for dispatch and unloading incoming goods.
- Maintaining quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Liaising with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Participating in inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
- Working standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with opportunities for overtime on weekends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent attitude towards work, with a reliable and loyal character.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Forklift driving skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with various departments.
