Here at Contek, we are currently working with afamily-run manufacturer based in the West Midlands, specializing in the production of turned and milled components using state-of-the-art CNC machinery. Serving diverse industries such as automotive and home andleisure, priorotising precision and reliability in our manufacturing processes.
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Turner located in Redditch.
- Setting, operating and maintaining CNC machines
- Performing turning tasks, and ensuring
- Quality control of the machined components.
- Setting up machinery, monitoring production,
- Performing regular maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Fanuc would be desirable
- Understanding of g-code - essential
