Description
- Manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely debt recovery
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities
- Investigate and resolve customer queries as they relate to payment
- Maintain accurate records and support the month-end financial close process
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Comply with all company's policies, procedures and ethical standards
Profile
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using finance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in Variance Analysis advantageous
Job Offer
- A salary range of £26,000 - £29,000 pa
