Description

  • Work closely with our Machine shop team to improve process flow and NPI
  • Drive production efficiency and quality through process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Implement new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to inform management and stakeholders on production progress and challenges.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to production staff.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
