The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sites building and production machinery is inspected, maintained and kept in good order.
Key responsibilities and duties;
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site
- Repair of pneumatic systems, pumps, mixers and filling lines, particularly those used in paint/chemical processing.
- Build, modify and install machinery to correct specifications.
- Repair of tanks, vessels and other mechanical plant infrastructure.
- Complete building site maintenance checks.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to oversee planned and emergency works.
- Ensure all maintenance works and tasks are logged correctly.
- Contribute to the companies health and safety culture, performing risk assessments and promoting a safe working environment.
Skills and experience required;
- Minimum 3 years of working in a maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Good diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Able to carry loads and physically fit.
- A valid driving license.
- Computer literate.
The role is on Days and is Monday to Friday.
