A global manufacturing business is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their expanding team.
The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring quality assurance, and generating programs using FANUC software.
Candidates should have a background in CNC machining and toolmaking, with experience in MAZATROL, FANUC, or HAAS controls preferred.
The position offers a salary range of £28k to £34k, depending on experience, and requires relevant qualifications such as NVQ, HNC, or HND in mechanical engineering.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00, with an immediate start available.

A global manufacturing business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of a range of static tension and / or compression testing machines, including specialist grips, fixtures and applications are seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team due to expansion.As a CNC Machinist you will:

Set and Operate CNC Miller
Ensure targets are met
Highlight any necessary drawing changes to immediate supervisor
Monitor and check quality assurance of products
Generate programs using FANUC / licom software package
Machine parts accurately and in a timely manner
Set up machines ready to be used by operators
Complete all documentation required ie work orders etc

We are looking for a CNC Machinist with the following skills and experience:-

Previous CNC Machining and Toolmaking background
Ability to set and operate MAZATROL / FANUC / HAAS / MAZAK (MAZAK NOT ESSENTIAL) controls
Multi Axis experience advantageous
Programming experience advantageous
ALPHACAM experience advantageous
Knowledge of technical drawings, tolerances and cutting speeds
Training provided where necessary
Apprentice trained time served, NVQ / HNC/ HND in mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline.

In return you will receive a salary of £28k -£34k (depending on experience). You will be working Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:30 and Friday, 08:00-16:00.
