We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic T Level Construction Lecturer to join our team at a great college. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our students' educational journey in the Construction department, particularly focusing on Civil Engineering and Surveying.

Day-to-day of the role of a Construction lecturer:
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Levels 3-4 Construction courses.
  • Act as a personal tutor, promoting attendance and supporting students' academic and personal development.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the Construction department.
  • Potentially lead one or more T Level programmes as Course Leader.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the College to ensure the highest levels of educational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a full teaching qualification or be currently working towards one.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant industry experience or qualifications in Civil Engineering and Surveying.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Desirable: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
  • Desirable: Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance or willingness to update to new standards if holding old qualifications (e.g., A1 or V1).
