Head of Catering – Surrey - £70k – Independent Education
We are working with a fantastic Independent School catering provider who are on the hunt for a Head of Catering for a group of schools in the Surrey area.
About the role:
As Head of Catering, you will be responsible for a group of day schools overseeing all catering and hospitality. The role is largely Monday – Friday and requires someone with experience in the independent school market.
The Head of Catering will be responsible for the oversite and development of a team which includes, Chef Managers in each site. This role is due to grow as new contracts come online and could be responsible for as many as 10 sites moving forward.
Ideal Head of Catering:
- Experience in Contract Catering ideally in independent schools or B&I.
- Experience in recruiting, training and mentoring staff to create a motivated and high-performing team
- Financial understanding and P&L management along with experience developing budgets
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience
- Most of all, you will need to be a real foodie!
