Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Inspire Learning: Teach pupils within assigned classes, ensuring all educational needs are met.
  • Collaborate: Work with the Principal and colleagues on course development, teaching materials, and assessment methods.
  • Maintain Order: Oversee the use and storage of teaching materials and maintain discipline.
  • Plan & Prepare: Develop lessons, schemes of work, and activities in coordination with Year Leaders and colleagues.
  • Monitor Progress: Assess pupil achievements and progress, and communicate with parents as required.
  • Professional Development: Engage in INSET and implement innovative strategies in classroom practice.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): By September 2025 (unless applying as an unqualified teacher).
  • Experience: Teaching primary-aged children is highly desirable.
  • Assessment Skills: Ability to make accurate use of assessment and monitoring strategies.
  • Commitment: Dedication to continuous professional development and innovative teaching.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Behaviour Management: Ability to manage behaviour effectively and ensure a safe learning environment.
