Sonic Summary

Candidates must have TIG welding skills to a high standard and experience in marine, oil & gas, or offshore environments.
The role requires the ability to work from drawings and specifications, with a preference for those already coded with private Lloyd's Register codings.
The salary is £25 per hour PAYE plus £3.02 per hour holiday pay, or £33.48 per hour through an umbrella company, with up to 50 hours of work per week.
This contract is currently set to last until late October 2025, with a strong possibility of extension.

You will be working on the fabrication of large steel structures for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.

Requirements:

TIG welding to a high standard
Experience in marine/oil & gas/offshore environments
Ability to work from drawings and specifications
If already coded with private Lloyd's Register codings you will be able to have an immediate start, If not, an in-house weld test will be required before starting

Details:

Hours: Up to 50 per week
Mon- Thurs 8 hours, Tues - Thurs: 12 hours Fri- 6 hours (Tues - Thurs extra hours, project dependant)
25/h PAYE Plus 3.02/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 33.48/h Umbrella co
Current contract until late October 2025, with strong chance of extension
Must have own Airfed welding mask
