Tig Welder

A1 Jobs are seeking a skilled individual to join our clients team as a Welder. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques TIG & STICK and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

• Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in all welds.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Assist in the training of new staff members on welding techniques and safety practices.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG and Stick methods.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes, including sheet metal work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques is essential.
