Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will:
- Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance, maintaining high levels of reliability and availability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to prevent operational interruptions, working closely with maintenance teams.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical isolations, ensuring compliance with site safety rules and environmental regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
- Assist in emergency response procedures and ensure the safe application of work processes on-site.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience within a process industry, ideally in power generation or similar sectors.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of plant operations best practices and safety standards.
- IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
