Enthusiastic Biology Teacher Wanted in Richmond! Ambitious School
Our ambitious school in Richmond is seeking an Enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join our successful and growing Science department. We are keen to hear from Biology Teachers who are excellent practitioners and may have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of Biology provision and extracurricular Biology. This is a prime opportunity for a passionate Biology Teacher to lead Biology initiatives and further Biology education. We need a dynamic Biology Teacher.
Location: Richmond Role: Biology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5 Biology).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for Biology concepts and practical Biology.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Biology curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Biology.
- TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage in Biology, developing Biology practical schemes, or managing Biology resources.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Biology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of Biology principles and a passion for practical Biology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead Biology activities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Science department related to Biology.
