A well-regarded secondary school in Richmond is seeking a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Humanities department.
As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, youll work with pupils in KS3 and KS4, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. Youll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in subjects like Geography, History, and RE.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing in-class support in Geography and wider Humanities
- Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
- Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
- Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds
This role is ideal for aspiring Geography teachers or those interested in education, youth work, or social research.
