Aspire Jobs are working exclusively with our professional services client who are looking for an additional Administrator to join their growing friendly team based in Ringwood.

The role would suit someone with previous office admin experience, who can provide an extremely high level of customer service experience, who has excellent verbal and written English and who is IT/computer-literate as this is mainly a paperless office. This role will progress into running payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis for clients so excellent attention to detail is essential. If you have any payroll experience then great - our client uses BrightPay.

The successful administrator will:-

  • Have a superb telephone and communication manner
  • Be well presented
  • Have previous office admin experience
  • Be prepared to learn payroll
  • Be computer-literate with both Excel and Outlook as well as internal systems
  • Have good levels of verbal and written English language skills
  • Be switched on and able to work to processes
  • Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Be able to prioritise workload

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Externally facing
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Liaising and organising review meetings with major clients, Helping to arrange meetings and managing an online diary
  • Support with chasing recurring work i.e. VAT, Recurring, stubborn PTRs and Ltd for your accountant colleagues
  • Credit control
  • Managing incoming telephone calls, as well as the generic email inbox and live chat
  • Internally facing
  • Supporting the eam by covering basic accounting tasks such as support payroll when required
  • Taking on administrative accounting tasks for businesses with Companies House such as Confirmation Statements
  • Management support
  • Providing admin and organisation support to the owner, including monitoring his inbox Triaging emails when staff are on holiday
  • Other ad hoc work
