We are working on behalf of a well-respected insurance specialist who is looking to grow its commercial team. They are seeking a motivated individual with a background in Household insurance who is ready to take the next step in their career and transition into a Property Insurance Portfolio Manager role.

The Opportunity

  • Step into a commercial insurance role with structured support and development.
  • Manage a growing portfolio of property insurance clients - starting with renewals and adjustments, and moving into full account handling.
  • Learn how to build and maintain long-term client relationships across a range of property and real estate risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle client enquiries, policy renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Learn to prepare insurance presentations, liaise with insurers, and provide tailored recommendations to clients.
  • Develop an understanding of commercial insurance products, market placement, and FCA compliance.
  • Maintain accurate client records using manual and digital systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to strong retention levels.

Key Skills

  • Experience working in household insurance
  • Keen to develop a career in commercial/property insurance.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Good administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Ideally working towards or interested in gaining CII qualifications (support provided).
