Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time
- Prepare and process invoices and credit notes
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ad hoc admin duties supporting the finance team
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Proficient using accounting software ideally Sage
- High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
