The Company

My client is one of the UKs leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of industries. The company is extremely well established and currently employs over 150 people, with distributions across Europe and Worldwide; they have become a centre of excellence within this specialised machinery to a wide variety of industries. Due to further expansion, they have the need to recruit a CAD Design Engineer, with a desire to learn and develop within this secure company.

Key Skills

The Role

As Lead Engineer Electrical & Controls you will be responsible for delivering control system projects. This technical role entails working with a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers to design, implement and test Controls & Automation Systems and performing the functional design of HMI, PLC Architecture, Networks, and Communications Interfaces using standard hardware and software components.

Where an existing framework is in place you will make necessary modifications and alterations to existing code base.

The role also involves leading a small team of 2 including 1x electrical CAD engineer and 1x control systems engineer.
