A great opportunity has arisen for an Entry Level CAD Technician to join a leading design, manufacturing and installation company based in Medway Towns on a permanent basis.
You will be working 08.45-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 09.00-16.00 Friday. This is a 37.5 hour per week role
The main purpose of the role is toproduce 2D AutoCAD drawings of ventilation systems for customer approval.
Your main duties will include:
- Interpretation of customer ductwork and equipment drawings.
- Calculating required airflows and design systems.
- Working in accordance with company quality procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- Attending team meetings and contributing to the team development topic
- Communicating with customers and consultants to confirm information and requirements.
- Liaising with project managers, revising drawings as required.

Experience/Qualifications
- A technical design background and experience with sheet metal and ductwork systems.
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor & Vault OR similar design platforms following the same design practices
- A background and knowledge of commercial ventilation desirable
- Revit(3D Modelling)experience desirable
