BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE SUMMARY:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support the growth of CC Cousins. This includes actively researching tender platforms, generating new leads, and organising meetings between potential clients and the companys leadership team. The role has a fixed salary and is primarily focused on outbound prospecting and early engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential new clients through industry platforms, databases, and networking.
  • Search for and monitor public and private sector tenders using tender portals and procurement websites.
  • Register interest in tenders and ensure compliance with submission requirements.
  • Book and coordinate introductory meetings and calls between directors and prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to align lead generation campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and status updates using internal systems.
  • Attend relevant industry events and exhibitions to generate new leads.
  • Provide regular reporting on lead generation activity and pipeline progress.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development (B2B environment preferred).
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and platforms is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Organised and goal-oriented.

Work Conditions:
