Supply Desk are delighted to be working with a well-regarded and popular secondary school in Rochester, offering an exciting opportunity for a female PE Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a qualified or unqualified teacher with extensive experience supporting PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with the possibility of extension from September. The school provides a welcoming and supportive environment, making it a fantastic setting for an enthusiastic individual passionate about Physical Education.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver or support engaging and inclusive PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence and skills through participation in sports and physical activities.
  • Ensure students’ safety during lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Work closely with the PE department to maintain high standards in both academic and extracurricular settings.
  • Promote a positive and active learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR extensive experience supporting PE at the secondary level.
  • Confidence in engaging and motivating students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to Work in the UK and ability to provide two professional references from the last two years.
