We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team in Rochester, a specialist provision for students with a diagnosis of ASD.

The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to the individual needs of our learners. You will play a key role in supporting students' academic and personal development, building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated science lessons (KS3-KS4)
  • Use creative strategies to engage pupils with diverse needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with staff and therapists to create inclusive learning environments
  • Track and report on student progress, setting achievable and aspirational targets
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and communicate effectively with families and professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • Experience teaching science within an SEN or mainstream setting
  • A thorough understanding of autism and other SEND
  • Patience, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education
