We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team in Rochester, a specialist provision for students with a diagnosis of ASD.

The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to the individual needs of our learners. You will play a key role in supporting students' academic and personal development, building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated science lessons (KS3-KS4)
Use creative strategies to engage pupils with diverse needs and abilities
Collaborate with staff and therapists to create inclusive learning environments
Track and report on student progress, setting achievable and aspirational targets
Contribute to EHCP reviews and communicate effectively with families and professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Experience teaching science within an SEN or mainstream setting
A thorough understanding of autism and other SEND
Patience, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education
A flexible, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
