The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their Reception class on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about making a real difference in the lives of young learners with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

About the Role:

As the class teacher in this vibrant and supportive Early Years setting, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons tailored to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each pupil, supporting communication, independence, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN specialists.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records and track each child’s progress, celebrating milestones and achievements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years and/or SEND education.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and how to adapt it for children with additional needs.
  • A creative, patient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting children to reach their full potential.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
