About the Role:

A leading manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join its Southend-based team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and improving quality processes within a high-precision engineering environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct part inspections at all manufacturing stages

• Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)

•Handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) - both internal and external

• Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions

• Approve final product release based on quality standards

• Collaborate with production teams to integrate quality controls

• Support quality audits and compliance initiatives Requirements:

• Background in engineering

• Familiarity with ISO 9100, AS9100, and EASA standards

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Previous experience in a quality control/inspection role

• Proficient in Excel; comfortable with digital reporting tools

• Knowledge of FAIR processes

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and operate laser measuring machines Benefits:
