An outstanding school in Havering is seeking a talented Permanent Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive Science department. We are a collaborative team committed to inspiring the next generation of scientists, and we are looking for a passionate chemist to enhance our provision across all key stages, including A-Level.

Your Role: As a key member of our Science team, you will deliver high-quality Chemistry education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of the subject and scientific inquiry. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to ensure our students achieve their full potential in chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Chemistry lessons across all key stages.
• Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of chemical concepts and processes.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging practical investigations.
• Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.
• Collaborate with Science colleagues on curriculum development and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including A-Level.
• A genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to make it accessible and engaging for students.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
