Permanent Teacher of KS5 Biology (Potential for A-Level Leadership) - An Outstanding Havering School
An outstanding school in Havering is seeking a talented Permanent Teacher of KS5 Biology with a strong expertise in A-Level Biology and the potential to contribute to leadership within the Sixth Form Biology provision. This role will be entirely focused on delivering exceptional A-Level Biology teaching.
Your Role: As a key member of our Science department and Sixth Form team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality Biology education at A-Level. We are looking for someone with the skills and ambition to potentially contribute to the development and leadership of our KS5 Biology curriculum and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons exclusively at A-Level.
- Demonstrate a strong and current understanding of the A-Level Biology specification and assessment.
- Track and analyze student performance at KS5, implementing effective strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and sharing best practice within A-Level Biology.
- Mentor and support students in their A-Level studies and university applications for Biology-related fields.
- Potential to take on leadership responsibilities within KS5 Biology in the future.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with leadership potential.
