Job Summary:

Dynamic shipping services company with a 30-year history and are part of a global network of over 100 offices across 30 countries are seeking and experienced Export Sea Freight Operations person to join them in their office in Romford.


Join a dynamic and fast-paced team working in the export sea freight operations department. You’ll be responsible for coordinating deep-sea trade shipments, covering a wide range of international destinations. Experience in Non-Vessel Operating (NVO) work is a plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email, are essential to effectively manage bookings, manifesting, and liaising with overseas agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage export sea freight shipments, primarily in deep-sea trades to various countries
  • Handle bookings, manifesting, and documentation for shipments
  • Communicate effectively with overseas agents to ensure smooth coordination of shipments
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with a small team to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and operational procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Some experience in export sea freight operations or NVO (Non-Vessel Operating) work is beneficial, but training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (phone and email)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
