As our Teacher of Geography, joining us in September 2025, with a significant leadership role in A-Level Geography, you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Take a lead role in the delivery and development of the Geography curriculum across all key stages, inspiring high-achieving students, particularly at Key Stage 5, to reach their full academic potential and fostering a school-wide appreciation for geographical inquiry and environmental awareness.
- Shape Curriculum Innovation: Have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Geography curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, the use of GIS and other technologies, and exploring geographical issues relevant to the experiences within the Havering community and the wider world, with a focus on the demands of A-Level.
- Mentor and Guide: Act as a role model and mentor for students with a passion for Geography, fostering their aspirations for further study and careers in geography, environmental science, and related fields, particularly guiding our A-Level students towards university success.
- Collaborate with a Dedicated Humanities Team: Work alongside a team of experienced and passionate educators, sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the department, with a key focus on the delivery of an outstanding A-Level Geography program and engaging fieldwork opportunities.

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Geography teacher with a proven track record of outstanding results across all key stages.
