As our Teacher of History, joining us in September 2025, with a significant leadership role in A-Level History, you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Take a lead role in the delivery and development of the History curriculum across all key stages, inspiring high-achieving students, particularly at Key Stage 5, to reach their full academic potential and fostering a school-wide appreciation for historical inquiry and understanding.
- Shape Curriculum Innovation: Have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our History curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, the use of primary sources, and exploring historical connections relevant to the experiences within the Havering community and the wider world, with a focus on the demands of A-Level.
- Mentor and Guide: Act as a role model and mentor for students with a passion for History, fostering their aspirations for further study and careers in history, archaeology, heritage, and related fields, particularly guiding our A-Level students towards university success.

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified History teacher with a proven track record of outstanding results across all key stages.
