Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
  • Create and implement lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student success
  • Engage in school events and activities
  • Play an active role in the development of the school's maths department

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)-this is essential
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management techniques
  • Dedication and enthusiasm for student success
  • An enhanced DBS is mandatory or willingness to obtain one
  • Must provide two professional references from your most current roles.
