We’re currently recruiting for a Production/Machine Operative to join a leading manufacturing business based at their Haslingden site. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with previous production experience who is looking to join a stable and supportive team in a physically active environment.

As part of the Manufacturing Team, you’ll be responsible for producing accessories to a high standard, operating machinery, ensuring line efficiency, and supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement targets.

• Loading wood, metal, pins, and nails into production machines (manual handling up to 20kg required)

• Operating machinery, monitoring performance, and escalating any faults

• Sawing metal parts and applying adhesive tape

• Packing and palletising finished products

• Driving FLTs (training provided if needed)

• Sorting raw materials and preparing components for production

• Performing quality checks and completing accurate records

• Supporting line efficiency by adhering to schedules and minimising downtime

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Essential:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg

• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic

• Willing to work rotating shifts (days and nights)

Desirable:

• FLT experience or valid licence (training can be provided)

• Day Shift: Monday-Wednesday (3 x 12-hour shifts) + Thursday (8 hours)

• Night Shift: Monday-Wednesday (3 x 12-hour shifts)

• Day shift starts at 7am | Night shift starts at 7pm
