Job Purpose:

To support the continuous improvement and regulatory compliance of the service by providing exceptional administrative support through having excellent attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.

The role involves the quality assuranceof Parenting Assessment Reports destined for the courts to ensure these are of the required standard within designated timescales. Reports are completed by professional social workers and no content changes are required, however often they can contain spelling errors, poor grammar, incorrect formatting. These mistakes need to be picked up and amended to retain the quality of the report alongside comments on house style and any repetition.

There will be a requirement to ensure effective administration and accurate minutes taken of key meetings, including our legal panel. Responsibilities will include the tracking of actions to secure consistent follow up of actions agreed. The positionis new and will give the individuals chance to develop the role and take it to new heights in Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance, proof readingand formatting of Parenting Assessment Reports for Court

  • Attention to detail and consistent house style

  • Administrative and Document Management

  • Communication and Coordination

  • Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Business Support including administration of meetings and taking meeting minutes

  • Tracking actions agreed to ensure timely completion

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Excellent Spelling, Grammar and word formatting skills.

  • Excellent IT skills.

  • Be able to work swiftly, with purpose and manage timescales effectively.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Desirable:

  • Experience of quality assurance of official reports

  • Understanding of the importance of managing organisational reputation in a legal arena.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and relevant legislation.

  • Experience producing reports, audits, or performance dashboards.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance is desirable.
