Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Stock Controller to join their team in Rotherham on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage stock levels using MRP/ERP systems
- Run and analyse stock reports to support operational decisions
- Carry out regular stock audits and cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain material availability
- Ensure accurate input and reporting of inventory movements
- Support continuous improvement in stock control procedures
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Confident in generating, interpreting, and acting on stock and inventory reports
- High attention to detail with excellent numerical and organisational skills
- Willing to get hands-on with physical stock when needed
- Clear communicator and team player with a proactive approach
