Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at an Energy from Waste site. As part of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compliance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on EHS practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the site.
- Proven experience as an EHS Manager, preferably in an EPC environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in environmental health and safety. (NEBOSH)
- Relevant qualifications in management (SSSTS or SMSTS)
