Finance Transformation Consultant - 6 to 12-Month ContractMidlands (with hybrid working)

We’re delighted to be working exclusively with a high-growth, PE-backed business in the Midlands. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to play a key role in their ongoing finance transformation programme.

They’re looking to engage an experienced Finance Transformation Consultant for an initial 6-12-month period. You’ll bring a strong background in finance change management and process re-engineering, with specific expertise across core areas such as P2P, R2R, Payroll and General Ledger.

This role will suit someone who’s used to working cross-functionally, driving change, and isn’t afraid to get into the detail. You’ll be working closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders alike, so establishing credibility and building relationships quickly will be crucial.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

  • Proven track record of leading finance transformation or change programmes
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including SLT
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver at pace

This is a fast-moving environment, if you’re comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery and you’ve done it before in a PE or high-growth setting — we’d like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate:

You’ll bring solid experience of delivering finance change in complex, high-growth environments and exposure to PE-backed or high-growth businesses would be a bonus. You will need to be able to hit the ground running.

Be commercially minded qualified finance professional with a track record of delivering change. You’ll need to be as comfortable influencing at board level as you are getting into the detail with operational teams.
